Core Responsibilities
- Public Area Cleaning: Clean and sanitize hotel lobbies, public restrooms, elevators, hallways, fitness centers, and employee break rooms
- Housekeeping Support: Restock linen closets on guest floors, collect and remove trash, and transport soiled linens to and from the laundry room
- Room Deliveries & Requests: Fulfill guest requests for extra items like rollaway beds, cribs, towels, and toiletries
- Event Setup & Breakdown: Arrange furniture, tables, and chairs for banquet and meeting rooms (often according to diagrams), then clean up once events conclude
- Inventory & Stocking: Ensure guest floor pantries and storage closets are neatly organized and fully stocked with towels, toiletries, and paper products
- Guest Assistance: Deliver items to guest rooms (e.g., cribs, irons, luggage) and respond promptly to housekeeping or maintenance requests
- Maintenance & Safety: Report maintenance or repair issues to management and help with minor tasks like replacing lightbulbs.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift heavy items (typically 25–50 lbs) and push heavy carts.
- Time Management: Capable of working efficiently to ensure public areas remain pristine while responding to various on-call tasks.
- Professionalism: Basic customer service skills and a friendly demeanor to interact professionally with guests and coworkers
