Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Janitor or Housekeeper? Our client is looking for a reliable and professional Janitor/Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and presentation of a private club. This position will support both member-facing areas and back-of-house spaces while also assisting with room setup and cleanup for rehearsals, events, and private functions.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and understands the importance of providing a clean, welcoming, and professional environment for members, guests, and staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, lounges, dining areas, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and meeting spaces
- Clean and maintain sidewalks, entrances, alleys, and other surrounding outdoor areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and deep clean assigned areas
- Clean elevators, floors, and other high-traffic areas
- Maintain clean and organized back-of-house areas, including employee lockers and restrooms
- Clean and prepare rooms for rehearsals, meetings, banquets, and special events
- Assist with event setup and post-event cleanup
- Restock towels, toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply needs to the supervisor
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Respond promptly and professionally to member and staff requests
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner

Experience Required:
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or hospitality experience preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Fluent conversational English
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Flexible and available to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
