Housing & Dining Manager

Kansas State University Salina is looking for a student-centered, energetic and highly organized professional to serve as Housing & Dining Manager. This is an opportunity to play a visible role in the experience of our students — creating a residential community where students feel connected, supported and engaged both inside and outside the classroom.

The Housing & Dining Manager provides leadership for residence life, student engagement and housing operations on the K-State Salina campus. This position works directly with students, student leaders and campus partners to create a safe, welcoming and engaging residential environment.

The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with students, building relationships, solving problems and making things happen. This is a highly visible, hands-on position where no two days are exactly alike.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Build a strong residential community

• Develop and lead student employees

• Manage day-to-day residence life operations

• Maintain housing-related records and systems

• Manage the residence life budget and support effective use of resources.

• Collaborate with campus partners to support student well-being and success.

• Look for new and creative ways to increase student engagement and strengthen the sense of belonging on campus
