Overview:
Path Home is expanding its Housing Retention Program to ensure families receive the ongoing support they need to maintain housing and thrive after exiting homelessness. As our affordable housing and rapid rehousing programs continue to grow, we are excited to add a Retention Program Manager to our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and innovative leader to help shape and grow a critical area of Path Home's work. The Retention Program Manager will lead the development and delivery of retention services, supporting families in our new affordable housing and providing ongoing, wrap-around support to families receiving rapid rehousing services throughout the community.
As the retention program grows, this position will help build the infrastructure, systems, and team needed to provide consistent, high-quality support to families over time. The Retention Program Manager will supervise a staff between 3-6 Retention Specialists, Permanent Supportive Housing Advocates, and a Resident Services Coordinator. They will provide leadership and guidance on complex family needs and work collaboratively across programs to strengthen continuity of care and housing stability.
A key responsibility of this role will be ensuring that retention services are intentional, flexible, and appropriately matched to each family's needs and circumstances. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Progressive Engagement, Assertive Engagement, and Critical Time Intervention (CTI) and the ability to translate these approaches into effective, individualized interventions. This includes supporting staff in assessing family needs, determining the appropriate level and intensity of intervention, responding proactively to emerging housing stability concerns, and developing strategies that strengthen families' long-term housing stability and connections to community support.
The Retention Program Manager will cultivate a strong team culture rooted in Path Home's values, develop and refine program guidelines and procedures, facilitate case consultation, identify opportunities to improve systems and processes, and ensure that retention services are responsive to the evolving needs of families.
This position will work closely with other program leaders and community partners to coordinate wrap-around services and strengthen the systems that help families maintain housing and achieve their goals. As Path Home continues to expand its permanent supportive and affordable housing services, this role will play an important part in building a sustainable, effective retention program and ensuring that families have the support they need not only to obtain housing, but to remain housed, build stability, and thrive.
