Debbie’s Staffing is in search of a Housing Specialist for our Client in High Point, NC!
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Job Summary: In this role, you will assist low-income families throughout the leasing process while ensuring compliance with program guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in case management or client services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist eligible families with the leasing process.
Administer and monitor program activities.
Maintain accurate participant records and ensure compliance with HUD regulations and agency policies.
Investigate participant, landlord, and program-related complaints and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Collect, verify, and update applicant and participant information.
Conduct interviews and gather documentation to determine program eligibility and continued participation.
Prepare and maintain case files, correspondence, and required reports.
Communicate with landlords, tenants, and community partners regarding program requirements and procedures.
? Perform other administrative and program support duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in social services, Business Management, or a related field.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in:
Case Management
Client Services
Human Services
Housing Programs or a related field
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
