Security Intelligence Analyst
Houston, TX | Onsite | 6+ Month Contract

iSphere is looking for a Security Intelligence Analyst who can connect the dots between what is happening in the world and what it could mean for people, facilities, operations, and business risk.

This role sits within a Global Security function and combines open-source intelligence, threat analysis, incident response, and physical security support. You will monitor both public and privately sourced information, assess potential threats, conduct research, and turn that information into concise intelligence that leadership can actually use.

You will also serve as part of the information and communications hub during security or safety incidents. That means gathering facts quickly, helping coordinate the response, keeping stakeholders informed, and making sure the right information gets to the right people.

When needed, you will also support physical security operations by monitoring access control, alarm, and video systems and assisting onsite security personnel. So this is not purely an intelligence desk role. You need to be comfortable moving between analysis, incident response, and physical security support.

What we need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or at least 1 year of experience working as an analyst in a government or corporate intelligence center

• Strong open-source research and analytical skills

• Advanced writing skills with the ability to turn complex information into clear, concise intelligence products

• Familiarity with physical security threats and trends in the United States

• Familiarity with major geopolitical issues and global security developments

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Copilot

• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed

• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain effective during active incidents

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Experience with Lenel/OnGuard, video monitoring, access control, or alarm monitoring systems would be a big plus. Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, traveler tracking systems, GIS or data visualization tools, or proficiency in another language will also get our attention.

The person who does well here will be curious, calm, and skeptical in the right ways. You should be able to sort credible information from noise, recognize when a developing event could affect the business, and explain why it matters without turning every headline into a crisis.
