Job Summary: The HR Admin is responsible for supporting the day-to-day Human Resources functions within a manufacturing facility. This role will assist with onboarding, employee records management, HRIS administration, benefits support, recruiting coordination, payroll-related activities, employee communications, and compliance documentation. The HR Admin will serve as a key point of contact for employees and leadership while ensuring accurate and efficient HR processes across the organization.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
$25/hr
Maintain employee records and ensure personnel files are accurate, complete, and compliant.
Support onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, system setup, and employee communications.
Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, and other HR transactions within the HRIS system.
Assist with benefits administration, enrollment activities, and employee questions regarding company programs.
Support payroll processing by maintaining accurate employee information, attendance records, and timekeeping data.
Coordinate recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, background checks, and onboarding documentation.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and general HR matters.
Generate and maintain HR reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, recruiting, and workforce trends.
Assist with leave of absence administration, workers' compensation documentation, and unemployment claims as needed.
Maintain compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and special HR projects.
Partner with supervisors and department managers to provide administrative HR support across the facility.
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and company information.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, Recruiting Coordination, Payroll Administration, or a related administrative role.
Experience supporting a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment preferred.
Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience handling confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
Knowledge of onboarding, benefits administration, employee records management, and general HR processes.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
