HR Administrator
Location: Kansas City, KS

Were looking for an HR Administrator who takes on challenges, works well with others, and achieves impactful results.
Summary:
As the HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in multiple activities at the Kansas City, KS insulation plant. This position will be full-time contract role intended to support the expansion of the facility. We expect the role to last 4-6 months with a possibility for extension.
The purpose of this role will be to provide the Kansas City plant with HR support and be a positive force of administrative effectiveness and engagement in the workplace.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
HR Management
Maintain accurate employee records including supporting the new hire process, updating employment records as necessary, and any other HR related documentation.
Ensure compliance with the file retention program.
Process new hire files and I-9 documentation.
Ensure completion of Onboarding and Manage Pending Hires to hire employees into the system.
Create physical and digital employee folders and ensure required documents are filed properly.
Tracking and reporting of key HR metrics.
Create and administrate employee badges.
Employee Compensation and Benefits
Assist employees in entering direct deposit information.
Assist in preparation and facilitation of benefit education & supporting processes.
Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries on medical programs, retirement plans, healthy living benefits, ECT.
Recruitment and Onboarding
Communicate plant staffing needs to recruiters.
Schedule, coordinate, and participate in on-site interviews with recruiters and key plant stakeholders.
Assist in employee pre-hire and onboarding processes including but not limited to scheduling & monitoring the status of pre-employment testing, drug screening & background screening.
Assist in creation of new employee accounts by submitting IT ticket.
Coordinate new hire orientation by communicating & scheduling with key plant stakeholders.
Ensure new hire items are ready for each hiring class including bags and folders.
Communicate orientation details and first week schedule to new hires.
UKG Hourly Payroll
Support weekly hourly employee payroll through UKG system and daily timecard reviewal management.
Assist employees in getting access to UKG mobile app.
Communicate with supervisors on employee attendance and vacation usage.
Employee Engagement & Recognition
Support in plant efforts to build a culture of appreciation.
Participate in coordination of employee engagement initiatives.
Acts as a point of contact for external partnerships and thepartners within the community.
Training and Development
Provide administrative support to T&D team
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma Required
2-3 years of working HR experience, preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Manufacturing Knowledge or Experience, preferred.
Payroll system experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

Demonstrated ability to communicate with employees at different levels in an organization.
Comfortable and capable of handling sensitive and confidential employee information.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Candidates must be able to meet the physical and environmental requirements of working in a manufacturing setting .
This includes supporting a 24/7, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment in a non-climate-controlled facility.
Essential physical capabilities include but arent limited to the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, maneuver up and down stairs, and perform continuous standing, lifting, bending, and other physically demanding tasks.
