HR Advisor (Schools)

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Schools HR team as a HR Adviser on a permanent basis due to internal promotion. You will be working closely with the Schools' HR Team, headteachers, governors and schools staff across Powys providing advice and support to our customers on all aspects of everyday employee relations including sickness absence, grievance and disciplinary cases. You will also support the HR Business Partners on more complex cases including restructures and transformation.

About you:

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to quickly develop professional working relationships. It is important that you can demonstrate excellent customer care and are able to prioritise and plan your time effectively. Strong communication skills with the

ability to adapt your style to suit the audience are essential, as is experience of using IT software to interpret data.

What you will do:

Work as an essential element of the Corporate and/or Schools HR function to advise on Employee Relations case work and providing a comprehensive HR Advisory Service to Schools/ the Council.
