Hr Advisor

My client in Southampton are looking to appoint a talented HR Advisor on a Contract basis.

This role will provide a comprehensive employee relations advisory service, supporting managers across the organisation with a wide range of people-related matters. The postholder will manage employee relations casework from inception through to conclusion, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, organisational policies and HR best practice.

About the role:

Based in Southampton (Hybrid):

• Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters from initial referral through to resolution
• Handle cases relating to Disciplinary matters, Grievances, Sickness absence and other employee relations matters
• Support managers in applying policies and procedures consistently and fairly
• Promote best practice in employee management and workforce relations

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in a similar role
• Proven experience managing employee relations casework
• Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, absence management, flexible working and performance-related cases
• Local Authority experience is essential
