The Human Resources Assistant provides support across a wide variety of HR functional areas including recruitment, onboarding, and offers HR related support to employees and their manager for both our onsite and remote locations. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in all areas of human resources including recruitment, coaching and development, employment law, employee relations, and performance management. This position will also support employee engagement programs such as our EBRGs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing onboarding materials, coordinating virtual orientations, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Maintain and update employee records, manage HR databases, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Respond to day-to-day employee and management questions about HR policies, payroll, benefits, recruiting needs, etc.
  • Administration of HRIS platform including new hire enrollments, terminations, and other compliance requirements.
  • Protect employee information and understand the importance of confidentiality.
  • Administration of all aspects of recruitment functions including job postings and resume screening /coordination, conducting and coordinating interviews, offer letters, references, background checks, scheduling onboarding and orientation, etc.
  • Ensures personnel file compliance including pre-employment paperwork, screening results, I9 documentation and all other matters.
  • Participate in various HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and enhance the remote employee experience.
  • Understand and act in accordance will all company policies.
  • Perform a variety of other HR related administrative and project duties as required.

 

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalency required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1 + years of experience in Human Resources, Administrative functions, or other similar role
  • SHRM certification preferred
