The HR Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the human resource department. The individual in this role may be involved in: recruitment, payroll administration and any other area of human resources.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for the recruiting process (e.g., schedule interviews, sending background checks, attending job fairs/recruitment events as needed, drug tests and contacting select candidates).
  • Coordinates the new hire orientation process (e.g., scheduling the orientation, preparing orientation paperwork, and creating the employee files), including I-9 completion/compliance.
  • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Provides support on auditing, review and processing the paperwork and forms.
  • Participates in special projects and initiatives, to include engagement, job fairs and HR Assessments.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supports company Open Enrollment period to ensure smooth processing.
  • Supports Payroll processing.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Other Duties:

  • Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Education & Experience: Highschool diploma or GED required. 1 year of Human Resources/payroll/clerical experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
  • Language Skills: Local language required.
  • Mathematical Skills: Intermediate
  • Other Skills: Results-oriented, excellent organizational skills, high level of interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines, high sense of urgency and customer service focus, excellent communication skills, written and verbal, flexible with shifting priorities and business needs, including working a flexible schedule to support the business.

Compensation:

The expected base pay range is $25.00 – $27.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
