Job Title: HR Assistant (Recruiting & HR Organization)
Location: Fresno, CA
Hours: 8am-5pm
Pay: $23/hour (up to $24/hour for the right candidate)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to support recruiting efforts and help organize HR processes and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both people interaction and behind-the-scenes organization. You will play a key role in recruiting for hourly positions while also building and maintaining structured Excel reports to improve HR visibility and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit for hourly positions, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates
- Review resumes and track candidate progress throughout the hiring process
- Conduct phone outreach, schedule interviews, and support onboarding activities
- Maintain and organize candidate tracking and hiring data in Excel
- Build and manage Excel reports to support HR and recruiting functions
- Assist with HR file clean-up, organization, and general administrative support
- Communicate effectively with both candidates and internal teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum 24 years of recruiting experience, specifically for hourly roles
- Conversational Spanish required (must be able to communicate verbally)
- Intermediate Excel skills, including creating and maintaining reports
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills

Someone proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of both recruiting and HR clean-up projects. This person should be able to step in, create structure where its missing, and keep things moving.
