Location: Graceville, FL (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $18.00+/hour, Based on Experience (BOE)

We're looking for a motivated, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team in Graceville, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or grow a career in Human Resources while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
As the HR Assistant, you'll work closely with the Human Resources Manager to support employees throughout their employment journey-from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, training, and employee relations. Reports To: Human Resources Manager
What You'll Do
- Support daily Human Resources operations, including payroll, recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Process payroll and maintain employee records using ADP software.
- Assist with recruiting by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Schedule employee training sessions and track participation.
- Maintain accurate personnel files, benefits enrollment documents, and performance records.
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist with implementing HR policies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Prepare HR reports, presentations, and other administrative documentation as needed.
- Partner with supervisors, managers, and HR team members to address employee relations and HR initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiency.
- Assist with training supervisors and managers on ADP software.
- Handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Participate in action planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous HR experience or internship preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic understanding of HR principles, employment practices, and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, approachable, and able to build positive working relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible, dependable, and eager to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Walk, stand, and move throughout the workday.
- Bend, stoop, stretch, twist, and reach as needed.
- Occasionally work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable working around loud equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds throughout the workday.
