HR Assistant Specialist
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Payrate: $25.00/hour-30.00/hour
Location: onsite - West Yarmouth, MA 02673
Duration: 6+ month contract

Summary
The HR Assistant Specialist supports the Human Resources team with recruiting, applicant tracking systems (ATS), vendor management systems (VMS), reporting, and workforce planning initiatives. This role works closely with hiring managers and HR teams to support recruiting operations and hiring processes.

Responsibilities
  • Support HR teams with administrative tasks and reporting.
  • Manage and monitor job requisitions in ATS/VMS systems.
  • Submit and manage contingent worker requisitions in IQNavigator (IQN).
  • Communicate with hiring managers regarding requisitions and candidate updates.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide ATS/VMS support.
  • Train system users and assist with setup and process questions.
  • Create and distribute recruiting and hiring activity reports.
  • Review resumes and identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and hiring steps.
  • Conduct HR screening interviews for direct hire candidates.
  • Follow up with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Support workforce planning and reporting initiatives.

Requirements
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of HR, recruiting, or related experience.
  • Experience with ATS and/or VMS systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed...
  • Flexibility to support different locations and assignments
  • Must be able to travel locally using a personal vehicle as needed
Additional Information
  • Approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Approved business expenses, including mileage and travel-related expenses, will be reimbursed according to company guidelines.
