Client is looking to hire a BI analyst who is skilled and experience in building reports/dashboards using PowerBI and other AWS tools. This individual will also need to have technical expertise on workday HCM as they would be required to develop key reports and system integrations to and from Workday HCM system.

Job Responsibilities:
The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of Workday HCM.

• Support Workday HCM implementation activities, including development, testing, and deployment of key reports and system integrations to and from Workday. Build, test and deploy custom apps in Workday Extend
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Design and build compelling data visualizations for reports, presentations and analytical products to highlight key insights and research findings and communicate project results internally and externally using tools like PowerBI and other AWS tools; ensure reports are created using credible qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, understand and prioritize business problems.
• Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
• A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions

Key Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Workday modules
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience with Workday integrations
• Hands-on experience building reports using EIB and Workday Studio

Preferred:
Workday Pro Certification (nice-to-have differentiator)-- I think this would help us stand out.

• Project is for Workday implementation of these modules: HCM, Payroll, Time & Attendance. Candidates MUST have hands-on deep experience in these modules
• Must also have Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) experience
• Must also have Workday Orchestrate experience
• Must also have strong SQL & JSON
• This candidate will be building the interfaces and doing the configuration of the above Workday modules, using the tools mentioned. They will interface with business SMEs to build the interfaces and reports in Workday. They are expected to start configuration & report building work on Day #1 (because it s a short term engagement and also a backfill, there is no room for hand-holding)
• Also as FYI, they are moving out of Alteryx reports to PowerBI and AWS, although some a few reports may remain in Alteryx post go-live.

Must-haves

• Experience in developing reports and system integrations to and from Workday HCM
• Strong proficiency in SQL and JSON coding
• Knowledge of data visualization and ETL tools such as PowerBI/AWS Glue/ AWS QuickSight
• Ability to effectively translate business requirements into business rules
• Ability to communicate with users in business terms while applying BI concepts to solutions-oriented challenges
• Workday Pro Integration certification is preferred
