The Human Resources Business Analyst (HRBA) plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement across the Human Resources function, with a strong focus on healthcare workforce operations. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting HR metrics and workforce data to drive operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and align HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
The HRBA collaborates closely with HR leadership, clinical leaders, and cross-functional teams to support workforce planning, enhance employee engagement strategies, and promote operational excellence. Through insightful analysis and reporting, this role helps identify trends, recommend solutions, and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen the organization's workforce and overall performance.
Location: This position is onsite and can be located at our HR office in Janesville, WI or Rockford, IL
Schedule: Full time (40 hrs./week)
Shift: Monday - Friday, business hours between 7:30AM - 4:30PM

Collects, analyzes, and interprets HR and workforce data related to but not limited to recruitment, retention, turnover, training, benefits, and compensation.
Prepares dashboards and reports to support strategic and operational HR decisions through data validation.
Ensures accuracy and consistency across HR systems.
Troubleshoots and maintains HR applications in assigned areas.
Identifies opportunities to streamline HR processes, focusing on staffing efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Supports implementation of new technologies, systems, and tools to enhance service delivery.
Generates reports that track, measure, and capture HR compliance.
Assists in maintaining confidential employee records and assists with audits and regulatory reporting.
Collaborates across HR and department teams to understand business needs and deliver relevant insights.
Provides analytical support for HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives and benefit utilization reviews.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required:
2 years of experience in HR operations, HR analytics, data analysis, or related internship experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics or related field
Experience in a healthcare environment.
Experience in Workday HCM

Ability to follow both written and oral instructions accurately and consistently.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with HR systems, software, or databases.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and reporting platforms is a plus.
Understanding of basic HR principles and HR metrics.

PAY RANGE:
$61,173.09 - $94,818.29
