HR Business Partner

We are hiring for an HR Business Partner that will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, providing guidance in the areas of talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, organizational development, and HR compliance. This role is with a packaging equipment manufacturer that is growing exponentially!

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with department leaders to understand business needs and develop HR strategies that support operational goals.

• Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, team development, and employee engagement.

• Lead recruitment efforts for key roles, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains top talent in the machinery and manufacturing sector.

• Support onboarding, training, and career development initiatives to strengthen workforce capabilities.

• Drive employee engagement programs and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Partner with leadership on organizational design, succession planning, and workforce optimization.

• Manage employee relations, addressing workplace issues with fairness, confidentiality, and consistency.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal HR policies.

• Analyze HR metrics (turnover, retention, staffing, training effectiveness) to inform business decisions.

• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree or HR certification a plus).

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or similar advisory role.

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments required.

• Solid knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated ability to manage change and implement HR programs in a growing, fast-paced company.

• Results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
