HR Business Partner
Xavier University is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to contribute to the University’s success by providing strategic and tactical broad-based HR consulting. This position is a direct report to the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. The incumbent will facilitate the delivery of workplace strategies that impact culture and drive attainment of the HR strategic plan. The HRBP works closely with leadership to provide HR advice and recommendations on meeting division and academic business needs as well as University wide strategic initiatives. In addition, the position provides human resource consultation to administrators, supervisors, faculty and staff. The ideal incumbent will exemplify a high level of professionalism, ability to build relationships, confidentiality and maturity.
Job Summary:
The incumbent should exercise impeccable attention to detail and a dedication to excellence in all aspects of work. HR consultation and subject matter expertise should include, but are not limited to; general benefits consulting, salary structure, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, strategic planning, restructures, strategic workforce planning (development and succession), and talent acquisition and engagement.
