HR Business Partner - GBS, Scaled Growth (Los Angeles)

About the Team: We are looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing Global Business Solutions (GBS) human resources team. GBS is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Agencies, Partnerships, and Marketing Science.

The GBS, Scaled Growth team aims to help businesses, agencies, and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, and drive revenue and growth. To help companies achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small, our Scaled Growth team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric strategic mindset. You will partner with business leaders who design and execute scaled sales and service delivery strategies, ensuring that our customers have the right tools and products at their fingertips.

Specifically, you will:

• Drive HR Strategy: Translate overarching business objectives into a comprehensive HR roadmap, securing leadership buy-in and driving end-to-end execution.
• Advise Leadership: Coach business leaders on critical people matters, including organizational effectiveness, succession planning, and building high-performing teams.
• Leverage People Data: Design and monitor HR dashboards to extract actionable insights that influence strategic decisions, retention, and scaling efforts.
• Optimize Org Design: Lead workforce planning and business restructures to ensure agile, efficient, and scalable operations.
• Elevate Performance: Oversee the full performance management cycle, including 360 evaluations, calibrations, and continuous leadership coaching.
• Champion D&I: Implement tailored Diversity & Inclusion action plans that drive the mentorship, development, and promotion of top talent.
• Foster Engagement: Act as a cultural steward to enhance communication, cross-functional collaboration, and overall employee engagement. Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Human Resources experience, including 3+ years acting as an HR Business Partner.
• Experience partnering directly with commercial, sales, marketing, or scaled operations organizations, with a strong understanding of the revenue-generating talent landscape.
• Proven ability to execute talent management, organizational design, and performance strategies in a complex, hyper-growth, or heavily matrixed environment.
• Strong proficiency in leveraging data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to extract insights, drive strategic decisions, and measure the impact of HR programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience supporting global employees and advising regional leadership.
• Track record of building and scaling 0-to-1 people programs from inception to execution.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on operator with the ability to autonomously manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence leadership and clearly convey complex information.
