Working under the direction of the Executive Director of Human Resources, this role delivers a broad range of HR services, including recruitment, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and general HR operations, while ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and compliance requirements.

Minimum Education/Training/Experience
Associate's degree in human resources, business management, public administration or related field and three (3) years of progressive human resources experience.
Preferred Education/Training/Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, public administration, or related field and five (5) years of progressive human resources experience and three (3) of the five years must include demonstrated working experience with Texas public retirement systems, including Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), Optional Retirement Program (ORP), Employee Retirement System (ERS) and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) regulations, as well as voluntary retirement plans.

Three (3) years of experience of demonstrated working experience with Texas public retirement systems, including Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), Optional Retirement Program (ORP), Employee Retirement System (ERS) and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) regulations, as well as voluntary retirement plans.
Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and data accuracy.
Licensing/Certification Requirements
Human Resources certifications (PHR or SHRM) are preferred.
