The HR Business Partner - Brazil is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR operations, ensuring efficient execution of recruitment, workforce planning, personnel mobilisation, and compliance processes. The role supports business operations by maintaining high standards in HR administration, employee lifecycle management, and regulatory adherence, particularly within a dynamic Oil & Gas environment.

  • Key responsibilities (not limited to)
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate coordination, onboarding, and employee integration.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding processes aligned with company standards and client requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate personnel mobilisation for offshore operations, training activities, and business requirements.
  • Monitor workforce competency requirements and maintain training matrices to ensure operational compliance.
  • Coordinate training programmes, medical examinations, and certifications in accordance with regulatory, client, and company standards.
  • Maintain labour compliance documentation and relevant systems (e.g., Petrobras SIFAC), ensuring zero outstanding compliance issues.
  • Prepare and analyse HR metrics and reports, including headcount, workforce planning, and key personnel indicators.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through accurate and timely reporting.
  • Act as the primary HR liaison for labour union interactions, including collective bargaining agreements.
  • Represent the company in labour hearings, terminations, union arbitrations, and employment-related proceedings.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation in line with company standards.
  • Support performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and organisational development programmes.
  • Coordinate with payroll providers to ensure accurate processing of salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses, and other compensation elements.
  • Oversee timesheet validation and submission processes to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Manage HR-related expenses, purchase orders, and invoice processing through internal financial systems.
  • Administer employee benefits programmes, including enrolment and termination processes (e.g., insurance, allowances, and benefits).
  • Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Postgraduate Degree or MBA in Human Resources is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience across multiple HR functions and processes.
  • Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments with demanding delivery timelines.
  • Previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, labour relations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
