Business Partner - Human Resources (Entry Level)
Remote – prefer East coast but flexible
Shift: 8AM - 5 PM
Duration: 3+ Months


flex here as this role will support some minor downstream EMEA HR items such as contracts, ER documents and may need to flex earlier or later in the day.
Top 3 must have skills: Employee relations and performance management support; commercial business HR support / previous experience; demonstrated resourcefulness – drive to seek answers and creative solutions to coach and support leaders.

Purpose statement:
Reporting to the Director of HR, Commercial & Business Units, the HR Business Partner, Commercial + Business Units provides HR Business Partner (HRBP) support to the AMR region's local Commercial organizations in IDT and Aldevron as well as support downstream support actions for EMEA HR team. This role will act as a partner to leadership within the Commercial business and BU. The focus of this role is supporting the business associate experience in AMR and enabling the business to achieve strategic objectives by enhancing leadership and organizational effectiveness through the acquisition of talent, performance management, associate development, retention, and engagement. This position may participate projects of moderate complexity for the business. This position supports working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including the Human Resources Center of Excellence, HR Operations organization, and legal. Position will also support downstream HR items from our EMEA HR team including employment contracts, supporting hiring actions, and transactional performance support (documentation).

Essential Functions:
? Lead and collaborate employee relations matters and support investigations. Anticipate challenges and recommend innovative solutions, in partnership with leadership for problems of moderate complexity across a spectrum of human capital-related challenges.
? Drives influence with various levels of leadership around problem solving, dispute resolution, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and litigation avoidance
? Support associate engagement, retention, and development by implementing programmatic approaches as well as coaching. Consult with leaders on talent and organizational design challenges, including supporting organizational goals
? Drive successful execution of the performance management process within assigned client groups including supporting performance calibration sessions; coaching leaders on tough conversations; creating performance improvement plans and development plans.
? Act as a resource to interpret and provide guidance in relation local employment laws and integrate practices within local states and provide guidance regarding local business/HR practices.
? Collaborate with clients on internal movement decisions; transfers, promotions, job enhancements and ensure decisions are aligned with talent and skill gaps, development plans and career pathing while ensuring movement aligns with company leveling guides and policy
Education:
? Bachelor's degree in business or human resource management with 5+ HR business related experience

Professional Experience:
• 3-5 years' experience as a HR Business Partner, including experience coaching and influencing leaders, negotiating, coaching, and driving thoughtful and collaborative solutions with various levels of leadership
? Experience supporting Commercial functions demonstrating success leading through organizational change; prioritize, develop timelines in view of competing priorities, and scope projects.
? Experience leading others, whether directly or indirectly, and demonstrated ability to cultivate a team environment and trusting and productive working relationships.
