Overview
The HR Compliance team ensures compliance with regulations through fair and equitable employment practices. The team oversees compliance in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity, Reasonable Accommodations, Unacceptable Workplace Conduct, Veterans and Employees with Disabilities, Data Privacy and Anti-Fraternization.
Job Description:
The Compliance Lead will report to the HR Ethics and Compliance Manager and will work directly with employees and HR Centers of Excellence to ensure that applicants and employees are given equal opportunities in employment and contracting activities regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. The Compliance Lead will oversee, administer and be a technical resource for any and all accommodations issues that arise under federal and state law. Additionally, this position will facilitate and administer Electric Boats Voluntary Dispute Resolution Process (DRP). The successful candidate will implement, communicate, and maintain programs, practices and procedures that are designed to identify risk, ensure adherence with all applicable related legal/regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as mitigate loss and protect the company.
