Job Summary
The HR Compliance & Leave Administration Specialist administers leave of absence programs, workers' compensation claims, ADA accommodations, and core HR compliance initiatives. This role ensures company-wide adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws while providing supportive, timely case management for employees. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

What you will be doing:
- Oversee daily administration of FMLA, WA PFML, and other federal, state, or company-sponsored leave programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees navigating the leave process.
- In collaboration with the Safety Manager, coordinate all Workers' Compensation claims and partner with managers to facilitate safe return-to-work and modified-duty plans.
- Manage the interactive accommodation process under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Ensure all employee records, leave documentation, and compliance files are systematically organized, securely stored, and kept strictly up to date in alignment with record retention policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain strict adherence to employment laws and company HR policies. Conduct routine HR compliance audits and maintain secure, confidential records.
- Educate and train managers on leave regulations and compliance requirements.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, State Medical Leave Programs, Workers' Compensation, and broader employment law.
- Exceptionally strong organizational, analytical, and case-tracking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on documentation and confidentiality.
- High level of attention to detail and proficiency in HRIS platforms.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products including SharePoint.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 or more years of dedicated experience administering employee leaves, workers' compensation, or managing HR compliance.
- PHR or SHRM-CP credential preferred.
