Overview

This role is part of HR Services, providing support to employees and leaders across a wide range of human resources functions. The position focuses on talent acquisition administration, employee support, HR transactions, documentation, reporting, and training. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Track daily employee attendance and maintain accurate records
  • Administer and report on FMLA tracking and compliance
  • Support Talent Acquisition activities, including interview scheduling and preparation of interview documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation by preparing new hire packets, coordinating orientation schedules, organizing documentation, and delivering HR orientation presentations
  • Administer insurance enrollment and billing processes, including hire, termination, and leave notifications
  • Respond to employee inquiries via phone, email, and HR systems with a high sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Provide backup coverage for front desk and main phone lines as needed
  • Support HR projects and additional tasks as assigned
Time Allocation of Key Duties
  • 40% Talent Acquisition Administration
  • 30% Employee Inquiry Management
    • Respond to employee requests through HR systems with minimal supervision
    • Educate and guide employees on HR topics such as pay, data changes, HR actions, policies, and procedures
    • Support benefits administration, including eligibility determination, enrollment, contributions, documentation, and claims
    • Assist with benefits policy updates and Open Enrollment activities
    • Apply knowledge of local employment regulations in daily administration
  • 15% Global HR Transactions
    • Process HR transactions such as new hires, address changes, internal job events, reimbursements, tuition assistance, and employment verification using HR systems
  • 15% Documentation & Knowledge Management
    • Maintain and update process documentation for regional HR activities
    • Create HR user guides and manuals to support regional business needs
    • Ensure employee facing HR content is accurate, current, and accessible
    • Develop and maintain knowledge articles aligned with global standards

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HRIS systems; SAP HR and SAP CRM preferred, SuccessFactors a plus
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong communication, presentation, and training skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to coach and train employees on HR processes and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Team oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments and shifts
  • Ability to work flexible hours, primarily day shift with occasional early mornings or evenings to support a 24/7 operation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Haitian Creole or Spanish
  • Experience supporting HR operations in a manufacturing or plant environment
