As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an organized and people-focused HR Coordinator to support our recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, compliance, and payroll functions.
About the Role
The HR Coordinator supports the daily functions of the Human Resources department with a primary focus on recruiting, onboarding, employee support, compliance, and payroll administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level to early-career HR professional looking to grow within Human Resources while gaining hands-on experience across multiple HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruiting activities for hourly and salaried positions
- Post job openings, conduct phone screenings, and schedule candidate interviews
- Screen resumes and maintain communication throughout the hiring process
- Assist with offer letters, pre-employment screenings, and hiring paperwork
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Complete I-9 verification and E-Verify processing
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files
- Assist employees with basic HR and payroll-related questions
- Support employee engagement activities and company events
- Support HR compliance, audits, and reporting activities
- Provide backup support and assist with payroll preparation, timekeeping review, and employee change processing as needed
- Audit employee hours and attendance records for accuracy
- Support leave, accommodation, and other administrative HR processes
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of recruiting, or HR experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn HR processes and employment practices
