Human Resources Coordinator

Contract-to-Hire | Onsite | North County San Diego

A growing organization is hiring an HR Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and HR operations. Open to entry or mid-level candidates based on experience.

What You'll Do

  • Support recruiting including job postings, resume review, and interview scheduling
  • Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate hiring logistics
  • Manage onboarding and new hire paperwork
  • Maintain employee records and audit HR files for accuracy
  • Process employee changes including status updates and transfers
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee questions
  • Track leave of absence cases (mid-level candidates)
  • Handle confidential HR information and documentation
  • Resolve discrepancies and follow up on missing information

What You Bring

  • Associate's degree required

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Entry level: 1+ year of HR support

  • Mid-level: 2+ years of HR experience, including benefits or leave

  • Strong attention to detail and organization

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment

  • Strong communication and professionalism

  • Valid California driver's license

Work Environment

  • Fully onsite, Monday through Friday
  • Fast-paced, high-volume HR setting
  • Frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
  • Employee-facing with sensitive situations

Pay

  • $27-$30/hr depending on experience

Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
