SCHEDULE:

Full-time - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

PAY RANGE:

$29.32 to $35.83/hr

Established in 2023, CommuniCare+OLE is the result of a union of two health centers with a deep roots in their respective communities and reputations for providing high-quality primary care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay: OLE Health of Napa and Solano Counties and CommuniCare Health Centers of Yolo County. Building on a legacy established by both organizations in 1972, CommuniCare+OLE is a network of federally-qualified health centers with 17 sites across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. It offers comprehensive care, including medical, dental, behavioral health and substance use treatment, nutrition, optometry, pharmacy, care coordination, referrals, and enrollment assistance to more than 70,000 individuals, and no one is turned away due to lack of insurance, immigration status, or ability to pay. Many services are offered outside of its sites, including mobile health, home visiting, and community and school-based programs.

JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day personnel processing activities and providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This role is responsible for delivering a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for all new hires The Human Resources Coordinator functions as a part of the Human Resources Department team to provide excellent customer service including timely, accurate and efficient care and information for CommuniCare+OLE employees and all other customers.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/TRAINING

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business/Human Resources or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years of administrative and/or HR coordination experience required.

  • Special Skills/Training:

Experience with Microsoft Suite is required. Experience with the ADP Workforce Now is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communications skills, confidentiality, and time management skills required. Strong sense of urgency. The ability to excel in a fast paced and team environment. Driven, goal and mission oriented, results-focused and high achiever.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*

Ensures completion of pre-hire paperwork, background screenings, collection of immunization records and professional certifications and BLS.

*

Supports the HR Department with HR functional area efforts, projects, and initiatives.

*

Onboards new hires, including on profile creation on HRIS, new hire packet preparation, and coordinating system/facilities access.

*

Facilitates onboarding/offboarding for contracted staff in collaboration with recruitment team and site managers.

*

Serves as a liaison between HR and staff.

*

Responsible for reviewing monthly I-9 compliance & running HRIS reports as needed.

*

Processes name change requests.

*

Facilitates New Hire Orientations in collaboration with HR Manager.

*

Works with DEIB Manager and HR Generalist on Employee Ergonomics as needed.

*

Serves as lead for HR Department Triage for main department email and phone.

*

Performs general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, typing and mailing.

*

Regularly confirms name badge and key fob distribution for all employees, including transfers, promotions, replacements, and name changes.

*

Helps prepare electronic termination paperwork, in collaboration with HR Manager.

*

Helps maintain electronic employee personnel files, in collaboration with the HR team.

*

Responds to and complete requests for employment verifications in a timely manner.

*

Provides back-up support for Education & Training Manager as needed .

*

Responsible for monitoring/managing the Tuition Reimbursement and Seminar/Certificate Reimbursement programs.

*

Performs additional administrative support functions for other HR team members as requested by CHRO.

*

Performs other duties as assigned.
