Overview:
We are seeking an organized and approachable bilingual HR Coordinator to support day-to-day human resources operations at a manufacturing facility. This role will focus on payroll support, I-9 compliance, employee onboarding, and general HR administration.
The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of HR or administrative experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with employees, solving problems, and keeping essential HR processes running smoothly.
Job Duties:
- Assist with accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Review timekeeping records, resolve discrepancies, and prepare payroll documentation.
- Complete and verify Form I-9 documentation and support E-Verify processes, as applicable.
- Lead new-hire orientation and ensure all required onboarding documents are completed.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions in both English and Spanish.
- Coordinate with HR, Safety, and Operations to support employees and workplace initiatives.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and general HR-related questions.
- Prepare reports, maintain confidential files, and support additional HR projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Must have experience processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and working with vendors.
- 2–3 years of experience in HR coordination, payroll support, onboarding, or a related administrative role.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with payroll processes, timekeeping, and Form I-9 requirements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong interpersonal and employee-service skills.
