The Opportunity
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations across our Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Project Management functions. This primarily on-site role partners closely with the HR Manager/HRBP to simplify HR processes, improve service delivery, and strengthen the employee experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and is comfortable balancing employee support, administrative excellence, and continuous process improvement.
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Support the HR Manager/HRBP in executing day-to-day HR activities across the employee lifecycle
- Assist with employee relations matters by documenting concerns, maintaining confidentiality, and escalating issues as appropriate
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and site-level activities that strengthen culture and retention
HR Administration & Compliance
- Support leave of absence processes (FMLA, disability, and other leave types) and maintain proper documentation
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and guidelines
- Provide administrative support for benefits-related processes and employee inquiries
- Assist with HR programs including wellness initiatives, and workforce development efforts
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency in day-to-day operations
- Compile and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and metrics; assist in preparing presentations and slide decks (PowerPoint) for HR leadership and business reviews
- Support consistent use of HR systems and tools to enhance accuracy, reporting, and service delivery
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of HR experience in a Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution, or project-based environment
- Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations, including shift-based operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Employee relations and conflict resolution knowledge
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office
- Foundational understanding of HR practices including employee relations, compliance, and labor law basics
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
