Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a growing electrical services and contracting organization seeking an eager and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional looking to expand their experience across multiple areas of Human Resources while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, adaptable, and excited to learn and grow within the HR field while supporting a dynamic operational business.


Responsibilities:
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing employee documentation and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
  • Maintain and organize employee personnel files while ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with HR audits, including employee file audits and job description reviews
  • Monitor and manage the HR inbox, responding to inquiries and escalating questions as needed
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the HR team across various functions
  • Assist with recruitment coordination activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
  • Support the development, auditing, and maintenance of HR procedures and SOPs
  • Help track HR processes and ensure documentation is updated and organized
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support HR initiatives and day-to-day operations
  • Participate in special projects and take on additional responsibilities as the role continues to grow

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 1+ year of Human Resources experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, eager-to-learn attitude with a willingness to grow professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with HRIS systems is a plus; ADP experience preferred but not required
  • Exposure to or interest in using AI tools and technology is a plus
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required
