HR Operations Leaves Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering parental leave of absences nationally to support employee needs.
  • Consulting with employees and managers on plan provisions, eligibility, and other general inquiries related to parental leaves of absence.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving both routine and complex leave issues to ensure seamless support.
  • Communicating leave plans and updates to appropriate parties and preparing related materials as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate case documentation within a service center environment.
  • Providing, reviewing, and processing leave paperwork for employees efficiently.
  • Ensuring employees receive proper payments while on leave through diligent oversight.
  • Interpreting and Escalating leave-related policies as needed to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborating with HR partners and COEs to ensure consistent communication and coordinated support.
  • Maintaining records and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Fostering a collaborative, team-oriented work environment to promote a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional higher education/background in HR or related fields is a plus.
  • Prior experience supporting HR processes within a corporate environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience administering Leaves of Absence programs.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine and complex leave issues.
  • Proficiency in case management systems.
  • Attention to detail with accurate documentation skills.
  • 2+ years supporting customers in a fast-paced setting.
