About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented
HR Administrator to support a growing multi-state workforce. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys the administrative and operational side of Human Resources, with a strong focus on
HRIS administration, payroll, benefits, onboarding, compliance, and employee records management.
The HR Administrator will serve as the primary administrator for
ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and play a key role in ensuring accurate HR processes, exceptional employee support, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain ADP Workforce Now (WFN), including employee records, reporting, workflows, Time & Attendance, and self-service support.
- Process accurate and timely multi-state payroll.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, life events, changes, terminations, and open enrollment.
- Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, STD/LTD, and other leave programs.
- Support the full onboarding process, including offers, background checks, drug screenings, I-9s, E-Verify, and new hire orientation.
- Manage offboarding activities, including separations, final pay coordination, benefits termination, COBRA administration, and exit documentation.
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding payroll, HR systems, benefits, and HR processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Prepare HR, payroll, compliance, and audit-related reports.
Qualifications
Required:- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, including payroll, benefits, employee data management, and reporting.
- Experience processing multi-state payroll.
- Experience supporting benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and leave administration.
- Knowledge of I-9 compliance and E-Verify requirements.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred:- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce.
- ADP SmartCompliance experience.
- Experience within construction, engineering, telecommunications, or field services environments.
