HR Coordinator
Hilton Miami Beach is a highly anticipated new-build hotel inside a historic Art Deco building steps from Collins Park, the Miami Beach Convention Center, Collins Avenue, Lincoln Road, and South Beach. With playfully designed guest rooms, three dining outlets - Amador, Savant Rooftop Bar, and Haute Mess Cafe - two rooftop pools, and flexible meeting space, this flagship 289-room property is now building its team ahead of its December 2026 opening.
THE ROLE
The HR Coordinator provides administrative support to the HR department across the company's South Florida properties, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, recordkeeping, and employee support functions. This is a shared role supporting all properties, not a single-property position.
This is a pre-opening hire - you'll help build this role from the ground up ahead of our December 2026 launch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Post job openings and assist with resume screening, supporting hiring managers by conducting screening interviews and scheduling interviews across properties.
Process new hire paperwork, background checks, and onboarding documentation.
Maintain accurate and organized personnel files and HR records across properties.
Assist employees with benefits enrollment questions and HR system navigation.
Support planning and execution of employee engagement events and recognition programs.
Assist with compliance tracking (training completions, certifications, etc.).
Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager.
Support high-volume onboarding processing during the pre-opening hiring surge.
Support high-volume recruiting during the pre-opening hiring surge, including sourcing candidates, scheduling/conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers across all departments.
Assist with organizing new hire paperwork and orientation logistics ahead of opening.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
1-2 years of HR or recruiting experience preferred.
Experience working in hospitality highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience a plus.
Discretion in handling confidential information.
Bilingual in english & spanish or creole (preferred)
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the HR field.
