About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our client's team in the university sector. In this role, you will contribute to providing hands-on, onsite support to new hires, managing end-to-end onboarding compliance, and executing high-volume interview scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, onsite support to new hires navigating the onboarding process, offering tailored assistance to employees facing language barriers or those with limited computer access.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding compliance within Workday or other HCM systems, ensuring data accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Execute high-volume interview scheduling, efficiently coordinating multiple complex calendars across various departments.
- Conduct thorough reference checks for finalists to support informed hiring decisions.
- Serve as an HR point of contact on-site, delivering exceptional customer service and building strong rapport with a diverse workforce.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of skills and experience in Workday, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalency.
- Strong customer service skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills (verbal and writing).
- Ability to manage high-volume scheduling and administrative tasks under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Bilingual, Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Experience in a higher education and/or union environment.
- Proven experience utilizing Workday or similar human capital management systems.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm
