Are you an organized, people-focused professional with a passion for Human Resources? kisco Park Terrace is seeking a talented HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting associates and leaders while helping to create a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace environment.

In this role, you will partner closely with the community HR leader to support a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, associate relations, training, payroll support, and HR systems—ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for all associates.

 

Schedule: Part time 9am-5pm

Pay:$23-$25/hr 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to associates and managers, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices
  • Coordinate recruiting and onboarding processes, including pre-employment screenings and new hire orientation
  • Maintain accurate and compliant associate records and HR documentation
  • Support associate relations by assisting with investigations, conflict resolution, and employee inquiries
  • Coordinate training programs and maintain training records
  • Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate HRIS data
  • Support administration of benefits, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims
  • Help communicate HR programs and coordinate associate recognition initiatives
  • Prepare and submit HR reports and documentation as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive associate information
  • Collaborate with leadership and Home Office HR to support organizational initiatives

 

What You Bring

  • High school diploma with 2+ years of HR experience, or associate degree with 1+ year of HR experience, or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed
