HR Coordinator (Recruitment and Operations)
We are seeking a confident HR Coordinator (Recruitment and Operations) to join our Human Resources team. If you are passionate about people, thrive on multitasking, and have a keen eye for detail, this role is perfect for you!
As HR Coordinator (Recruitment and Operations) you will be responsible for executing all recruiting and hiring processes for hourly and salaried positions across our multi-state and international workforce. You will be the key point of contact for candidates, hiring managers and internal HR team members, in delivering consistently exceptional candidate / employee experiences across all locations.
This position reports to the Director of Culture, Talent Acquisition and Employee Development, with back-up support to the HR team.
Work Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday with flexible work initiatives following a successful training period.
Location: Our corporate campus located in Center Township, (20 minutes north of Pittsburgh International Airport), is a serene escape amidst the tranquil beauty of Raccoon Creek, complete with walking trails and the convenience of free parking.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Proactively represent ARDEX at local career fairs and engage in outreach with high schools and colleges
- Develop innovative recruiting strategies using social media and networking
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure an efficient and effective hiring process
- Coordinate and support full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing and salaried positions:
- Post job openings using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and external job boards
- Screen candidates, conduct preliminary interviews and schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Prepare and extend offer letters in partnership with HR leadership
- Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate flow
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate pre-employment activities including background checks, drug screens, lift tests and new hire paperwork
- Facilitate onboarding logistics and orientation support across multiple locations
- Ensure completion of required employment documentation and compliance forms
- Support new hire engagement and positive onboarding experience
- Support employee development programs and events
HR Operations, Compliance and Support
- Maintain accurate employee records within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
- Support HR audits and compliance tracking (multi-state and international where applicable)
- Conduct employment verifications, documentation requests, and HR reporting
- Administer termination processes
- Provide administrative support as needed

Required Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of HR experience together with recruitment and interviewing experience is essential
- Experience with HRIS and Applicant tracking systems (ATS) experience is essential
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly regarding recruiting and hiring
- Proven high attention to detail and precision in maintaining accurate personnel records
- Proven organizational skills; able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Confident, effective, engaging and credible presenter.
- High levels of self-motivation, initiative, ideas, and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and listening skills
- Reliable and responsive
- Strong team player: collaborates effectively with a diverse team across different locations
- High ethical standards, integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy and accountability
- Proficient in MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel - mostly locally

Education
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related area is preferred.
