Job Overview

The HR Coordinator (Temp) provides comprehensive administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring efficient delivery of Human Resources services in a manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, supporting HR operations, onboarding, talent experience initiatives, recruitment activities, compliance, reporting, and HR systems administration. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion in handling confidential information, and a commitment to delivering exceptional employee experience while supporting business objectives.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (HRIS) ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions (hires, transfers, promotions, terminations).
  • Prepare HR documents including offer letters, employment verification, and contracts.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for HR inquiries, providing timely and customer-focused support.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure new hires have a positive, engaging start.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Assist in implementing initiatives that improve employee experience and satisfaction.
  • Manage applicant tracking system updates and candidate communications.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements by compiling accurate HR data.
  • Generate regular HR reports and metrics as needed.
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and drive efficiency.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Represent the company at hiring events, job fairs, and community partnerships.
  • Promote the organization's culture, values, and growth opportunities to prospective talent.

What your background should look like:

Required:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of HR administrative or support experience.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume hiring.
  • Advance experience with analytical Excel reports and PowerPoint.
  • Experience drafting employee communications, site-wide announcements, and recruiting related messages.

Preferred:

  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors).
  • Familiarity with HR processes and employment regulations.
  • Experience supporting Talent Experience or employee engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in contract recruiting or onsite manufacturing support.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environments, shift structures, and safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ADP, HRIS, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish to English - English to Spanish).

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $45,400 - 68,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
