Job Description
The Human Resource Coordinator supports and facilitates a wide range of human resources functions for the Vancouver office. This role administers new hire onboarding, employee relations, including workplace investigations, workplace injury reporting, and leave of absence administration. Additional responsibilities include assist employees with benefits enrollment, recruitment, interview coordination, and other recruiting activities.
Working closely with the Corporate HR team in Lakewood and the local Regional Director, the Human Resource Coordinator helps ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. This position also provides administrative support to the HR function, including maintaining employee records, managing personnel files, and ensuring accurate HRIS data entry.
Position Requirements
· Education or certification in Human Resources will be a plus
· Minimum 1 year of human resources experience
· Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
· Outstanding communication, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
· Effective presentation skills
· Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
· Good organizational, time management, and workload management skills
· Detail-oriented with the ability to use good judgment
· Computer literate; skilled in automated HR information systems, MS Word, Excel, and e-mail
· Proficient in multitasking and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
· Takes initiative and is a team player
· Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, patience, and timely response to all requests
· Embraces the diversity of our workforce and community and treats others with respect, without prejudice or bias
· Dependable attendance and punctuality; consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position
· Able to pass a criminal background check with the State of Washington and maintain clearance during employment
