Job Title: HR Coordinator
Duration: 6 Months
Location: York, PA -17402

This role will be in person, and hours are generally 6:30 am to 5 pm
Monday- Thursday. The role will need to flex hours as needed for support.
Introduction
This 6-month contract role is 100% onsite with hours generally from 6:30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Thursday. The role requires flexibility to support shift-based operations in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of HR, staffing, or workforce coordination experience
- Experience in a high-volume or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Client Excel (tracking, data entry, basic reporting)
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage hourly employees and leadership
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with staffing agencies and temporary workforce programs
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce or similar)
- Experience supporting scheduling or workforce planning
- Knowledge of basic employment law and HR compliance practices
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to coordinate onboarding for temporary employees
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly new hire orientation sessions
- Maintain and update workforce rosters, shift assignments, and headcount tracking
- Monitor temporary employees’ hours and eligibility for conversion
- Assist supervisors with tracking temporary employee performance, attendance, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
