As the
HR Generalist, youll play an important role in keeping recruiting and employee-support processes running smoothly. Your primary focus will be recruiting and onboarding hourly employees while also assisting with attendance tracking, employee questions, HR documentation, and other general HR initiatives. Youll work closely with the HR Manager and Senior HR Generalist while gaining exposure to multiple areas of human resources in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
What Youll Do
As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for:- Support the hiring and onboarding process for hourly employees, with an emphasis on manufacturing, production, machine operation, and maintenance positions.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with tracking employee absences and FMLA-related information using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Serve as a resource for employees by addressing routine HR questions, assisting with system access and password issues, and directing more complex concerns appropriately.
- Partner with the HR Manager and Senior HR Generalist on daily employee relations, administrative, and human resources activities.
- Utilize Paylocity and other HR/timekeeping systems to assist with recruiting, employee records, and workforce tracking.
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and tracking documents related to attendance, leave, payroll information, and other HR metrics.
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:- Minimum 1-2 years previous experience supporting recruitment, interviewing, or new-hire onboarding
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain records, organize information, and prepare routine reports.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or employee timekeeping platforms such as Paylocity is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with employees and management.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Medina and offers standard weekday business hours, Monday through Friday.
