They are currently looking to add an HR Generalist to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr

Position Overview:
The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive human resources support with a primary focus on the HR Service Center. Serving as a key resource for complex HR inquiries, the HR Generalist will handle escalated issues related to benefits, employee relations, policy interpretation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent resolution. The HR Generalist will partner closely with employees, managers, and HR team members to provide expert guidance, support workplace investigations, interpret employment policies, and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and organizational standards. Through a collaborative and service-oriented approach, this position helps foster a positive employee experience while supporting organizational goals.

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employee relations matters while ensuring consistent application of company policies.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, personnel record maintenance, employment verifications, and HRIS data management.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, assist with performance management, and support workplace investigations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by maintaining accurate documentation, supporting audits, and administering HR programs and processes.
Required Experience/Skills for the HR Generalist:
  • 2 - 4 years of progressive human resources experience in a generalist or HR support role.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and performance management.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the HR Generalist:
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR).
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or high-volume employee environments.
  • Experience with payroll, leave administration, or HR Service Center operations.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
