We are supporting our client on a search for an HR Generalist who will be the face of People Ops for a growing team. This is a hands-on, high-trust seat where you will touch every part of the employee experience, from onboarding through offboarding.
You will work hybrid out of a great Boston office and partner closely with senior leaders to keep the company healthy as it scales. We are open to early-career generalists, strong HR coordinators ready for a step up, and people ops folks who want broader scope.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions across the company
- Own onboarding and offboarding processes end to end
- Administer benefits, leave, and compliance programs
- Partner with managers on performance, coaching, and difficult conversations
- Maintain HRIS accuracy and run regular audits
- Help build people policies, handbooks, and training
- Plan employee engagement events and culture initiatives
Requirements
- 2 plus years of HR, people ops, or generalist experience
- Working knowledge of US employment law
- Strong written and verbal communication
- High integrity and comfort with confidentiality
- Hybrid presence in the Boston office at least two days per week
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
