At Esperanza Health Centers, we're more than a clinic-we're a vibrant, mission-driven community where compassionate care meets professional growth. Our team operates under the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model, and every day, you'll be part of making healthcare accessible, welcoming, and personalized.

Your Role & Impact

As an HR Generalist I, Talent Acquisition, you'll be Esperanza's dedicated recruiting specialist- the person who introduces candidates to our mission, walks them through our process with care, and makes sure we're building a team that reflects the communities we serve. You'll support clinical operations and patient care through both clinical and administrative duties by managing the full cycle of recruiting across clinical, administrative, and support functions, from posting to offer, and are the primary external face of Esperanza as an employer.

Primary Duties & Enhancing Care Flow

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for all open positions, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, processing offers, and handoff to the HR Business Partner for onboarding.
  • Represent Esperanza at job fairs, hiring events, and workforce development forums.
  • Ensure every candidate has a respectful, professional experience with Esperanza, regardless of outcome.

Collaborative Support & Communication

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand not just the position requirements but the team, the culture, and what a great fit looks like.
  • Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline, especially for hard-to-fill and bilingual clinical roles.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with community colleges, vocational programs, healthcare workforce organizations, and community-based organizations.
  • Represent Esperanza at job fairs, hiring events, and workforce development forums.

Administrative Duties

  • Keep ATS data current and produce weekly recruiting status reports.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics: time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, and 90-day retention monthly.
  • Maintain all open position postings across the ATS, external job boards, community partner platforms, and school career centers.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience; healthcare recruiting preferred.
  • FQHC or community health center experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting for clinical and non-clinical roles in a healthcare or nonprofit setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners.
  • Ability to manage high-volume recruiting across multiple open positions at once.
  • Commitment to equitable and community-centered hiring practices.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

What You Get in Return

  • A deeply mission-aligned workplace where your work matters-and you're valued.
  • Opportunities to grow your career in a supportive, community-focused healthcare setting.
  • A culture built around trust, respect, and collaboration, where you'll truly feel part of the family.
