Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Union City, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to support our growing manufacturing operations in Union City, CA. This role will be responsible for managing core human resources functions including onboarding, employee training, recruitment, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about supporting employees and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute new hire onboarding processes, including orientation and documentation
  • Develop and support employee training programs to ensure compliance and skill development
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer coordination
  • Process and maintain accurate payroll records in a timely manner
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Assist with performance management processes and employee relations matters
  • Support safety programs and HR initiatives within a manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate with management to improve HR processes and employee engagement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with payroll processing and HR systems
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Vietnamese and English highly desirable
