The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing guidance in employee-related matters through coordination with the local management team and corporate HR.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Lead recruiting efforts of all division hourly and salaried employees
New hire onboarding, orientation and training
Administer all insurance programs as well as billing
Implement and administer company policies and procedures
Provide advice and counsel to management regarding employee disciplinary actions and company policy
Be an active leader on safety compliance and Osha documentation
Ensure company compliance with state/
Institute and administer policies on vacation, new provincial and/or federal legislation and timely, accurate reporting of all work-related injuries
Ensure annual hourly and salaried employees performance appraisals are conducted and documented. Ensure all salaried employees have GOs in accordance with our business plan
Maintain accuracy of all bonus plans and payouts employee hiring, training and education, and leave of absence
Maintain PMP documentation for all employees
Maintain roster and turnover
Maintain updated filing of employee records
Coordinate employee events
Submit information to Marketing for internal communications Connextions
Qualifications
5 years’ human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Ability to build and sustain confidence and credibility at all levels
Demonstrated experience in working with ERP systems
Proficiency with MS Office Applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook
Focus on results by getting things done
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
Experience in a fast-paced environment
Salary Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay:
Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
