Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Maryville, TN 37801
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Pay Rate: $32/hour on W2
 
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a wide range of Human Resources functions within a manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with employees, managers, and leadership teams to provide comprehensive HR support while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support across multiple Human Resources functions, including:
    • Recruitment and employment activities
    • Personnel records administration
    • Employee and labor relations
    • Job evaluation and compensation management
    • Benefits administration
    • Organizational development initiatives
    • Training and development programs
    • AA/EEO compliance activities
    • Special HR projects
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Support dissemination of HR policies through employee handbooks, communications, meetings, and other channels.
  • Prepare reports and documentation to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to manufacturing operations regarding HR-related matters.
  • Collaborate effectively with employees and management at all organizational levels.
  • Ensure timely response to business needs while balancing changing priorities and long-term objectives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and employee relations practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
