Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing roles (production, warehouse, maintenance, etc.)
- Manage onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, concerns, and conflict resolution
- Support payroll processing and timekeeping accuracy in coordination with payroll/finance teams
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee questions
- Coordinate safety training, compliance training, and required certifications
- Partner with supervisors and plant leadership to address staffing needs and workforce planning
- Track attendance, time-off requests, and FMLA/leave administration
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and disciplinary documentation
- Help promote employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives
Requirements:
- 2+ years of HR experience (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
- Strong understanding of HR laws, policies, and compliance requirements
- Experience with recruiting hourly and skilled labor positions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- HRIS or payroll system experience preferred
