HR Generalist

Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish) - Temporary-to-Hire

Location: Oceanside, CA

Pay Rate: $25.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish) to join a growing organization in Oceanside. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing day-to-day HR functions, and partnering with leadership to ensure a positive and compliant workplace environment. The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource for employees while assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
• Coordinate recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and new hire paperwork.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and HR procedures.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications.
• Maintain HR files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Support employee relations investigations and help resolve workplace concerns.
• Process employment verifications, status changes, and other HR documentation.
• Assist in administering performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Partner with managers to support workforce planning and staffing needs.
• Generate HR reports and maintain accurate data within HRIS systems.
• Translate and communicate HR information to Spanish-speaking employees as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• 2+ years of HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or related role.
• Working knowledge of California labor laws and employment practices.
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
